I think Microsoft wanted this so now Windows 8 will be a success. Use the same app on a PC and Phone.

I can see this being a good thing.... It forces the agencies to upgrade their websites, and they can make them HTML5 compliant while they're at it.


I'm willing to bet there's a few sites that don't work with anything except for Internet Explorer 5 or something.
