yeah i was selected to host the party, i chose the "media mania" theme. i already have so many people interested in it that it was quickly decided my house wasnt going to be big enough. i'm currently looking at other places to host the event but i'm kinda excited to be able to do so. i really do believe that 7 is the best OS microsoft has ever created and cant wait to show it off.

You know I was thinking that the special Windows 7 edition would be worth something and it will be worth more than the retail cost of Windows 7 Ultimate...but they are killing its value with all the party invitations they are confirming...

i read somewhere there are 25000 copies of the signature edition. judging by the vista signature edition it'll probably be an autographed copy with a "limited" number and may possibly include a special theme. i wouldnt doubt if it had a few demo's and promo videos that could be used for the party as well. but it most likely wont include any real special features. still cant wait to check out my copy.

I figured as much myself...I was hoping that the folks that receive a signed copy could somehow build value on it since it is somewhat of a collectible but that is looking unlikely.

If the Sig Edition has a new theme or what not for it than I might have to take the ship out to the bay after GA and see whats the differences :)

well i'd bet people will start recieving copies as early as next week so keep an eye out i'm sure someone will let us know what to expect if we dont get it first.

I thought none of the party materials was going to arrive until the 22nd drew nearer...
