If you watch different tv series like NCIS: LA you will regularly see 7 in use on a large projection scheen when the characters gather around. MS simply took it further by turning the entire Windows OS in a frightscreen as far as the desktop interface is concerned.

I did a clean install of Windows 8 Release Preview with Media Center. Will I have any problem upgrading the final release?

My arm is so tired. Just used W8 for an hour. Screw it. I'll keep 7
You could always get a 15inch touch monitor and use landscape and hold it and use it like a tablet

I thought MS pulled the Media Center out entirely where it was now a separate paid for download?

As for the finished 8 like any other version you would be performing a claen install of Windows to replace the RP entirely. You wouldn't have any upgrade path available from beta to retail to start with.
