Win 7 most popular operating system

Just a tidbit of info with statistical validation of that which most of us already know:

You might find the Mac figures interesting. As a positive for them, these people have them over 5%.

I read that as over 5% of Macs have Windows 7 on them. This is what happens when you snort coffee instead of injecting it.

And hopefully it'll be the go to OS for the next half decade until we can move on to Windows 9 after MS realizes that they went too far with Window(s) 8 and makes concessions for us desktop KB/M users.

Full screen Metro Apps that can't be resized and take up all the space on my precious 1080p screen estate? *Shudders*

Thanks Karl for the good news. For a operating system that some say is not good it sure does sell well. Looks like the Window 7 Forum will be around for a good long time.

Their are some that even come here and spend time bitching and no time spent learning Windows 7. I know it's hard to believe.

Windows 7 Home Premium

Wow Iv'e been fortunate. I started with Windows 95, skipped 98, and me. used xp as long as I could. Now using 7 home premium and loving it. I'll watch 8 and probably wait for 9, but will use 7 until I can't anymore.

I, like many others, will skip 8 if it's a tablet-optimised OS. No one needs the latest Operating System, and Microsoft will still keep 7 up-to-date after the release of 8. No worries!
