True that on desktop PC / Laptops PC, it will be quit a pain navigating through solid colors pages to aero theme pages.

Well, MS made Surface for anyway!

Let's go ahead, to the blue.
I can't believe you brought up surface, you force me to post this.

MS will self correct after it sees that the PC market is NOT dead, and they need a PC only OS. It will happen with the next version.
Windows Blue, so...

Yes, I am afraid there are a number of MS existing user base who fell abandoned. As if their needs have been met with indifference.

Not the best way to manage any kind of transition.
I do not feel abandoned by MS rules at all, just the new techs are ever growing up the future that fast, we cannot even upgrade every two or three years without feeling having messed up our lives!

So, better sometimes put blinders and wait for the next train. Did some done it with Vista? Well, are you using that old windows 8 now?

Only rumours so far - it might turn out to be not what we hope.

I wouldn't be so much against it if it was possible to keep the Metro New UI confined in touchscreen... screens.

It would be the ultimate badass keyboard for PCs (if the touchscreens were a bit more soft anyway).

@Maguscreed: the above post makes me want to rep you.
