I use a couple of add ons and they don't bug me for anything. I've got that "feature" turned off in the settings. I also set it to inform me of updates but do nothing. I get a notice from time to time that v15 is available but I will get to that when I get to that. I just ignore it, it is just not a problem for me.

Edit: It is good to know that there may be a conflict with Flash. I think I will wait a bit longer for the parties to work that one out!

FF is updating so often now, that the appearance/themes aren't being updated quickly enough. I used to use Past Modern (looked just like Netscape 6!) but the developer couldn't keep up. I tried others and the icons/buttons seem very small. The default theme is just plain fugly, and I end up using Simple Green with "large" icons... even larger would be a big improvement.

Dang, FF15 already? I'm on 14.0.1, any reason to upgrade? Is FF15 stable?

I don't think it is stable I have repeated Black screens and it's from Graphic acceleration

It will work fine for about 10 to 15 min and then everything goes blotchy Black

It could be my Graphics card in general but IE or Chrome doesn't do this

I have Facebook as FF start page so i really don't Trip to much on the fact that i just glance at my alerts every so often but it get's annoying when you start getting into deep reading and then BAM Blotchy Black screen then i have to simply exit and when i go back it happens even faster so I don't think it's stable lol

    Try This:

    1. At Firefox address bar, enter about:config and press ENTER.
    2. At Filter: field, type keyword.url
    3. You should see a Preference name of keyword.URL in the list. Double click it, a "Enter String Value" input box will appear.
    4. Replace the string with: Google Click "OK" button
