I have a Facebook account to stay in touch with friends from other countries. Other than that, I don't save any personal info in my account like so many other users do. That sort of thing can come back to haunt you!

I'm not either. I suspect the graphic Bill posted has a lot of truth.
I use email to stay in contact with friends and I don't use any "Connect" features.

I'm not one of them. My mom won't let me, and I really don't want one anyway.

I have a fake facebook account. Mainly to get freebies like additional space in dropbox. Also to farm emails from dumb kiddies (again for more space in dropbox, now I have 18-ish GB in my free account).

But I'm more or less the only physical person I know with less than 50 years that does not waste tons of time into that nonsense and stay in forums about science and tech. I've always been such a nerd.
