about time too that microsoft realised that certain programs do work after all...and some still don't...

i can't see daemon tools mentioned anywhere - my os told me it wouldn't work, but it sure does.

Win7 x64 Ultimate SP1

Just a question about the update. At Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Application Compatibility Update, it says "Trend Micro Internet Security 2007 Upgrade Block to avoid error during Windows upgrade" etc.

Is that saying that it blocks upgrading your windows to Windows 7 if you have the product installed? And if so, how can you install the update to block an upgrade when the update is applied post upgrade (as the update applied to Windows 7 and Win2k8)? You have to slipstream it or something into your Windows 7 installer disc?

One thing that no one has caught onto about this one is that it is not for anything other then the 7 RTMs and soon retail. It won't go on any previous builds like the RCs!

With the RTMs now available at TechNet and MSDN being the retail version in download only and the 10/22 launch you can expect to see more updates coming for the finished 7 in the coming weeks and months.
