NONE of my games work in a vmware or virtualbox virtualization they either lag so much or refuse to play maybe because they are all directx 7-9 gamesi was using linux for the past two years (explains my inactivity on this forum) and I would keep it if it wasnt for my games,a lot of my apps and visual c++ if WINE runs close to every windows program perfectly im switching back. but i doubt that will happen soon. i will probably have to buy windows 8 this christmasHave you tried a using a Windows VM?
I run all of my old XP games (and earlier) in an XP VM using VMware Workstation (on W7 and Ubuntu 10).
Only one of my games won't install in the VM (it insists on a real XP install ).
Just like Gadgets vs Live Tiles.
Don't forget that XP is still bigger than all other operating systems combined (excluding W7).
