IE's not all that bad, can font-stretch and you can strip the navigator all the way down so it can't be reused. Pretty handy for HTML intranet applications, Internet prefer Chrome. | My System Specs |

I can't run Flash on FireFox 16, this is sad. Problem is I have FireFox setup exactly how I want it, why I don't switch. IE10 is promising. | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Built OS Windows8 CPU Core2Quad (2.6 Ghz) Motherboard nVidia 775 Memory 8 Gigs DDR2 Graphics Card Geforce 480 (1.5 gigs) Sound Card Motherboard Audio Monitor(s) Displays 22" Samsung LCD Screen Resolution 1680x1050 PSU 850 Watts Hard Drives 120 Gig SSD

I've got a Linksys E3000. My firmware is currently updated to the latest version so I can't test this the update side.
Thanks for the info. I'm using a D-link DIR-655 which is a standard Ethernet/wireless n router with excellent reviews.
My firmware is updated but I had to use another machine with IE9 and Windows 7 because apparently there is no way to do this with IE10, although I did try to bring down the security settings for this to work but to no avail, it may be possible to do so with more work.
I also can't use my router gateway settings .gws file to restore my routers settings in case it crashes, IE10 think's it's a script and therefore won't let me run it.
My worry is that if I updated all my other Windows 7 machines to IE10 I wouldn't be able to perform firmware updates on my router or access point or use the .gws file to restore the gateway settings. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Home built OS Windows 7 Ult, Windows 8 Pro, CPU Q9650-4.275GHz, E8600 4.5GHz, E6750-3.8GHz Motherboard Evga 780i FTW Memory G.Skill PC2 9600 1200Mhz 5 5 5 15 2T Graphics Card GTX480 Sound Card Asus Xonar D2 Monitor(s) Displays HannsG Screen Resolution 1680X1050 Keyboard Logitech G15 Mouse Logitech G9 PSU ThermalTake Toughpower 1000Watt modular Case ThermalTake XaserV Cooling Xigmatek S1283 Hard Drives GSkill Phoenix Pro 120GB SSD Internet Speed T1 |

I've noticed this behaviour at my TAFE. - All of the machines were bought in bulk (i.e. identical specs)
- They all use the same HDD image
- Some of the machines have problems with certain programs.

That's an amusing video.

Luckily the FF installer made a backup folder of the previous installation (Mozilla Firefox.bak) so I just copied the FF files over the new ones to revert to the previous version (16.0.2). Update was released it works with version 17. | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Built OS Windows8 CPU Core2Quad (2.6 Ghz) Motherboard nVidia 775 Memory 8 Gigs DDR2 Graphics Card Geforce 480 (1.5 gigs) Sound Card Motherboard Audio Monitor(s) Displays 22" Samsung LCD Screen Resolution 1680x1050 PSU 850 Watts Hard Drives 120 Gig SSD

Update was released it works with version 17. I checked for a "TabMix Plus" update a few hours ago (in my Windows 7 VM).
I then updated Firefox (to 17.0.1) and "TabMix Plus" worked correctly.
Thanks for the "heads up" though. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number n/a OS Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 (64 bit), Windows XP SP3, Linux Mint 14 MATE (64 bit) CPU AMD Phenom II x6 1055T, 2.8 GHz Motherboard ASRock 880GMH-LE/USB3 Memory 8GB DDR3 1333 G-Skill Ares F3-1333C9D-8GAO (4GB x 2) Graphics Card ATI Radeon HD6450 Sound Card Realtek?
