Virtual Box worked on the beta versions when others wouldn't. If I'm not mistaken, it's working on others now. | My System Specs |

Thanks. BTW the only virtual software I've used was Microsoft's Virtual PC. I may give that a try and see if 8 will install on it, if not Virtual Box.

I have been laptop shopping the last two weeks. I was surprised to see how many of them have Win 8 installed already. I found quite a few good deals, but they had Win 8. I just kept looking until I found what I wanted with Win 7. I am sure there are many others that are doing the same thing. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Build OS Windows 7 Home Premium 32-Bit - Build 7600 SP1 CPU Intel Core i3-2120 3.30Ghz Motherboard Asus P8Z68-V LX Intel Z68 Socket H2 ATX Memory Kingston 4 GB DDR3 1333 mhz Graphics Card Zotac GeForce 9400 GT 512MB Sound Card Sound Blaster Audigy SE 24-Bit Monitor(s) Displays Samsung Sync Master 940 = 19 inch Screen Resolution 1440 X 900 Keyboard Microsoft Natural 4000 Mouse Microsoft Custom Optical 3000 PSU 500 watt Case NZXT Apollo - Silver with Clear Side Panel Cooling Three 120 mm Fans Hard Drives OCZ Vertex 3 120 GB Sata 3 SSD ==

Registration is required I'll try it out after I pay the 40 bucks for it. I already know I'm going to get it, even if I do try it out. Might as well get it for 40 now than pay 150+ later
Plus I already have the preview version, I just never installed it.
I'm also in a position to get it for free, if I could ever get the site (DreamSpark) to recognize my school credentials. | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Built by me OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1 CPU Intel Core i7-950 (3.06GHz) OC to 3.8GHz Motherboard Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD5 rev 1, F6 Bios Memory 12 gig Corsair DDR3 Dominator GT Memory (3X 4GB) Graphics Card AMD Radeon HD6950 2gig (Sapphire) Sound Card X-Fi Titanium Fatality Pro Monitor(s) Displays HP ZR22w 22" LCD Monitor Screen Resolution 1920 x 1080 Keyboard Logitech Wireless Wave Mouse Logitech Performance MX PSU Antec Signature - SG-850 Case Cooler Master HAF X Cooling Noctua NH-C12P SE14 Hard Drives Primary - OCZ Vertex 4 SSD (256GB). I was in Best Buy yesterday. No signs of Windows 7. All the computers had Windows 8 and the shelf only had Windows 8 boxes.
I still should've asked if they had a copy of Windows 7. Making Windows 7 nicer, sweeter, smother, is not Microsoft's intension's. It might slow down sales of Windows 8. SP-2 for Windows 7 cost Microsoft money.
