    Linux Foundation support for booting Linux on Windows 8 PCs delayed | ZDNet



    Thanks to Microsoft's implementation of secure boot, installing Linux on Windows 8 PCs is tricky. Unfortunately, the Linux Foundation's plan to address this problem has been stalled.

    As I explained in my previous post, we have the code for the Linux Foundation pre-bootloader in place. However, there was a delay while we got access to the Microsoft signing system.

    Well, That is ANOTHER reason im not upgrading just yet... I use ubuntu for some prgraming and android programing/debigging so not, il rather wait...
