Did you see last Wednesdays' [the 3rd] episode of "Arrow" on CW?
It was like a 42-minute commercial for W8, especially when the blonde opens her

I noticed that, too. 'Tis called product placement (a company pays to have their product shown) and is common on TV or in a movie. M$ had to pay serious shekels to get that.

I am waiting for an episode of the Big Bang Theory when Sheldon gets his hands on 8. He had his laptop stolen in a break in and lamented the fact that Windows 7 was so much more user friendly than Vista and he did not like that. That would be interesting to see which way that would go.

Former Windows 8 bull changes tune, says platform is ‘challenging our optimism

We know that Windows 8 has failed to reignite demand in the PC market so far and now one formerly bullish analyst says that the platform “lacks momentum” and is “challenging” his earlier optimism. Benzinga notes that Bank of America analyst Kash Ragan downgraded Microsoft (MSFT) from “Buy” to “Neutral” on Thursday and expressed dismay that Windows 8 has still shown few signs of catching on “despite more available touch-based devices” more than six months since the platform’s initial launch.

    The market begins to act.

In a capitalist system that's functional, the market rules business.

    Like it or not.

    The market answers.

MS are trying to make it seem not just desirable - but normal.

The more the public see this thing, the less they will recoil from it.

Didn't Sheldon have a framed restraining order for abusing BG about Vista. Maybe he could get another for W8?
