Microsoft offers $100,000 bug bounty for Windows 8.1
    I have found a bug.

Click the start menu button and a lot of silly kiddie squares pop up - covering everything, even the taskbar.

I will have to wait till the preview is released to report it.

I LOVE how I'm installing a clean version of 7 and reading this stuff.

My step-brother has Windows 8 on his laptop, and after attempting to live with it since December, he can't wait to get Windows 7 installed. It says something about Windows 8, even the average consumer won't and doesn't want to conform to Windows 8.

    Metro Start screen by Playskool.

So where are the reports on 8/1 released today?

I'm sure we'd have heard by now if it was a real Start Menu instead of the Wall of Buttons continuiing to guillotine the once-fabled Windows desktop experience.

SIW2 I think you are going to have to share the reward money with a few million other people. They found the same bug.

I was a diehard hater of windows 8, until I had to purchase a new desktop when my 11 year old xp running gateway died. I even told the store clerk that I was considering wiping the drive and installing windows 7. The first two days I hated it, but now after having it for over a week...I have to eat crow, I like after I installed start8, even my wife who is not computer savvy likes it.
