Microsoft computers hacked in a series of recent cyberattacks affecting bigwig tech firms | Austrian Tribune

After a series of cyberattacks having recently affected bigwig tech companies like Apple and Facebook, a late Friday statement by Microsoft has revealed that the company's computers had also been hacked in the same way as the other attacks.

While acknowledging the hacking attack in a Friday published post on the official Microsoft Security Response Center blog, Microsoft hinted that it had made a public disclosure of the hack after being aware of the fact that its employee computers had been compromised for an unspecified period of time.

"We have no evidence of customer data being affected and our investigation is ongoing."
    HA HA HA!
They had no clue what was going on.

Joshua: Shall we play a game?

David Lightman: Hey, I don't believe that any system is totally secure.

General Beringer: Goddammit, I'd piss on a spark plug if I thought it'd do any good!

    David Lightman: Joshua called me.
McKittrick: [incredulous] David, computers don't call people!
    David Lightman: [shrugs] Yours did.
