    Opinions on the best browser are like opinions on the best motor oil. Everyone has there favorite(s) but they all seem to get the job done in the way a user applies it. I would think it rare that all users visit the same web pages or option their browser the same way just as there is no two desktops the same. But it's interesting to read the comments on why their browser is best. :)

    So, here's my opinion;
    Other than an occasional search (Bing is default), I don't load Google anything on my PCs so Chrome is out. The last time I tried FF, it was crap (Updated too often and kept crashing. Also seemed to need add-ons for everything.) so it's out too. Never saw the need to try it again. All the others are too different from what I'm used to and have less features. I like Windows IE because it's Microsoft and appears seamless with the OS. What can I say; I'm just an old fogy.

    I have become a big fan of the Mozilla *Aurora* browser. The current version is very snappy, I get daily security updates and it's not as bloated as the previous Mozilla builds. If I had to chose from the 2 choices given, I would pick Chrome, simply because I do not use IE at all. I turn IE off in system features.

    Aurora is technically an alpha version of Firefox. I tried it before, but it's too unstable for long web browsing sessions at least on my computer. At least memory management in Firefox is better than Chrome even with many addons enabled.

    Have they patched the memory leak issues with Firefox then?

    I am using the Nightly Builds (Firefox 22) and it is quite fast and I have no memory leakage. All of the modern day releases of Firefox do use a great deal of memory.. Mozilla can't hide it amongst other Windows service the way MS does with IE.

    I have abandoned all other browsers in favour of IE10, after using it with windows 8 I love it and was very happy to have a windows 7 version. Won't change back anytime soon.

    Chrome (Google) is too intrusive. Their constant need for my personal information and habits has shown me that I don't want anything to do with Google. I also don't like their attitude toward InPrivate Browsing. I use their search only occasionally and wipe cookies right after. I don't care how good their software might be, I won't have it on my system. But of course, I'm not in the demographics they're after anyway. :)

    I have moved to The Firefox 20 Beta Builds for awhile as the change to Firefox 23 will start this coming week.
