    Interesting enough, MS is driving users AWAY from its programs, towards alternatives or just to stay with the proven XP and 7 virtually forever!

    Mac is an interesting alternative if it were a bit more accessible and a lot less closed architecture.
    Linux is the great choice of course.
    But I want to take a serious look at ReactOS, if it were more stable to run at least as a toy machine.

    there's the Microsoft Store too, for the Surface, modeled after iTunes sort of.
