Interesting chart - thanx.

I don't think I understand the differences between Mainstream Support and Extended Support. Who get what and how.
Remember I only have 3 brain cells.
Well I have 7 more years and by then I won't care. Thanks for the info!:)
I'm still wondering what will happen if/when I need to reinstall XP after 2014 and how it will be activated. I need it to run some old software (Nero 6 Suite, HP PSC 1210 printer driver and toolbox, ZD Soft Screen Recorder software) and I'll be dual-booting with XP and 7 Pro for quite a few years yet.
Not like xp gets any add ons anymore. I never see any updates for my other machine with xp on it. If by support they mean talking to them when I have a issue or making newer software work on xp then i'm fine don't really care much for that. My bro is using my spare pc i gave him with xp on it and has no issues and has got no infections in over a year since I cleaned it and installed a anti virus. All he uses it for is youtube mainly and facebook, email, skype ect using firefox so not like he will miss any ie updates which they stopped a long time ago.
