from a strictly business economics point of view at MS I think we can assume this will go forward quickly, already the beta is very stable and provides greatly enhanced productivity (i have yet to see my first BSOD). The multiple flavours personally i was hoping to see trimmed to perhaps three though. Right now the beta is lean, mean and functional. the vast bulk of end users are not going to need or use many of the features that already brought vista to a near standstill. so long as they make end users aware come retail release of their requirements/benefits then this should go amazingly well. just have my laptop units run as they are doing now, with the connectivity they have now, and i am first in line.

More compatibility is all we need now, and (for me that is) solve this sleep issue. Whenever I put my laptop to sleep, it gets unstable upon awake, as if indexing or something gets screwed up.

Can't wait to get my paws on 7025. I think the different versions are a waste of time, everyone should all have the same version no matter what, but then again, it's just a ploy. However, with Seven's fame, this will work because everyone loves it.

The problem with sleep can be fixed by disabling your wake settings on your network connection.

Can you elaborate or link me in a PM. Don't want to take this off topic.

That does it. The next build is going in a VM. I'm getting tired of installing fresh OS'es
