If you work in a decent to large sized enterprise environment you need Windows 7 Enterprise, bar none.
If you are a geek at home, Ultimate is fantastic.
If you are a standard home user, Home Premium is great.
I don't think id buy Home Basic, but maybe thats just me.
Professional is alright but lacks many features that it should have, if you ask me.
