I don't know why you stayed with 9 so long

And to me, 11 blows 10 away speed wise. But... it's (11) is still in Preview Mode so...
Read too mant posts in the Browser forum with people having issues with 10. Since I use Opera 99% of the time, figured I'd try 10 it works with the few things Opera has issues with, so far so good. A Guy

    Hi there

Not trying to hijack the thread away from IE11 but :

CHROME has no probs with latest version of Silverlight -- I'm not sure whether OPERA supports Silverlight "Natively" -- I see from google that some people have found a tweak.

Actually having used CHROME on my mobile phone a lot too I don't really mind it as a browser but IE11 definitely is an improvement over IE10 apart from the one issue I have with it. (Silverlight).

Here's SKY GO working with CHROME.

So I'll stick with IE11 for most things and use CHROME for SKY GO / NETFLIX until I can get this laptop sorted out -- might need a total W7 re-install on it anyway.

Looks like somebody (probably me after a drunken night out) has been playing with some registry settings to set the browser ID to a different one to get a SAP GUI application to work so it could be my fault. !!! More research needed - or better I'll just do a total W7 re-install later and have a new test.

    Cheers

It's no surprize it's working on Chrome. Have a look at the Silverlight 4 Compatible Operating Systems and Browser list.

So far I'm going to pass on ie11 preview and full version,
I came across this to sort of fix the missing Browser mode options but ?
    How to bring back
ie10 is working fine so I'll be sticking with it until ie12 :)
Then I'll just look into Firefox again or Chrome.

OK, I found an issue. On Microsoft's Dream Spark website, IE11 isn't working properly. While I can log in and pick a product, I can't add them to my shopping cart for download. Clicking the "Add to cart" does nothing.

On my Windows 8 machine with IE10, everything works right and I was able to download the product I wanted.

Anyway this is the only non working issue I've found thus far. Strange this is happening with a MS website though

Maybe it will work for a paid product rather than a free product.

DreamSpark is a paid product. Look at the prices on DreamSparks website. It requires a subscription to access it, and its ONLY available to Academic Communities (i.e. K12, Tech, Colleges, Universities, and Government Ran Schools like Job Corp.)

"ONLY available to Academic Communities" of which I am a part of, and registered.

Perhaps the funny man should look into Dream Spark

Lighten up, guys. I was merely referring to Microsoft's sometimes unfathomable quirks. If you'll notice, Drew, your own screenshot shows a "free" download. That's all I was referring to. Sheesh.

Yeah. Its a Free download. You have to pay $10 - $20 for a legitimate DVD for the products. I would attach an image showing this, but for some reason SF is denying the upload.
