I see no problem with what Microsoft borrowed from AOL. I really don't. They took something from the 90s, shined it up, and used it in a different fashion. But I don't believe they have had too many of their own original ideas.

After seeing this I think you have gotten it right

Everything we get here or there is a Hashed rebrand with little if any upgraded features

Only real feature 8 gives a user is the touch interface but dabbling with it in stores in such it's the same thing why confuse everyone
To be quite honest, I would have to say that Microsoft's Operating System itself, is original. Look at the difference between Linux, Windows and Mac. Windows has its own backbone, while Mac is just a modified core of Linux. If anything, Mac is more a chump than Microsoft is. I believe Microsoft tries to be more original, but fails to be because of the multitude.

Prime example, about the statement above, is Microsoft windows 8. Look at how the multitude, AND this forum have criticized and dragged it down to the same level of treatment that Windows Vista got, as with Windows ME. I love Windows 8 simply because its DIFFERENT. Which is something people cannot fathom to save their lives. Each and every operating system, had its place or has it. Windows 8 is more of a tablet OS, while Windows 7 is a desktop environment.

Microsoft tried to be more original, and give you something completely new and different. What did we do? We sharpened the axe, and cut the b*tch down. Excuse the language, but its exactly what people did.

btw I like the Hendrix sig. Other than Miles I'd have to say Hendrix is my all time favorite musician.
There are many reasons why I love Jimmy his style and the way he played is epic
Also me and him share being Lefties ,Just wish I had the talent he had and make my Music talk for me like he did

You got a point i'm guilty but only because when I first worked it ,It had lots of broken features but now it's smooth for the most part ,I see no reason to jump to every new OS that shows it's face because it's new and improved

For me I guess it is when I need it that is when i'll use it till then I am perfectly happy with what I have :)

I had a roommate for awhile who could cover many of Jimi's songs pretty well using a Telecaster. But the only person I heard do Jimi's work with the same feeling, like he was playing multiple lines simultaneously like Jimi did, was SRV. He's the only guy other than Jimi who could play VooDoo Child with the same feeling.

I know Miles wanted to work with Jimi but I guess it never got past the screwing around stage. Too bad I didn't get to see either of them live.

    A dumb question....
So "My mate Bill" wasn't able to designate another key for "Control-Alt-Delete"..

And they are still not able, even today?
