    Or maybe Ballmer has convinced some investors that Windows 8 was Gate's fault, not his. You know the rules, accept all the praise for yourself, but pass blame on others.

    All the current Board members are running for re-election to the Board and that includes Gates and Ballmer. So they are not stepping down on their own. They would need to be voted out.

    it bugs me when someone like Gates or Jobs start a company that goes global , creates a phenominal amount of income and employment .
    then the board tries to get rid of them ,( for the good of the company usually ! wtf)

    the fact that it was their company to start with seems to get overlooked.
