I noticed this morning that NewEgg was taking preorders for Win 8.1. The Pro version is normally $199.99 but, with Promo Code: EMCYTZT4525, it's $179.99 today and tomorrow. The non Pro version is also available there for $119.99.

The software maker will automatically upgrade Windows 8 machines on October 17, the day before Windows 8.1 ships, but now Windows 7 users can pay $120 to order the Windows 8.1 upgrade DVD or a digital download.
