ok no problem can you please tell me where can i ask this thing.
Just start a thread in the 'General Discussion' forum. I am sure there are plenty of people that know about Windows Mail. For me it was too much of a pain in the neck. AOL is so much easier and I never have to worry about my mail.

OS is 64 bit Windows 7 Home Premium with Service Pack 1

Hi. am writing first post on Windows 7 Forum.

Am wondering if someone can explain how to delete text, etc in Windows 7 Home Premium "Wordpad": When i highlight text there is no "Delete" option in right-click menu, and cannot find any "Delete" option on the Toolbar array.

So to delete anything i use not very satisfactory method of highlighting it, and then selecting "Cut" in right-click menu.

Surely there is a "Delete" option somewhere or some way to put a "Delete" option into the right-click menu??? Have not been able so far to find any answers in Windows 7 "Help" or on Web.

Any advice will be very much appreciated.

Highlight the text and press the Delete button (DEL) on your keyboard. That is the easiest. But 'Cut' is good too.
