Okay I do not install recommended updates the same as important ones/ the box is unchecked,
So everything optional and recommended show up in the same optional section even though it was or is a recommended update,
Which to me is still optional but this one might come in handy as I also have 13 other updates which are to me unnecessary even though a few of them might be recommended,
    Attachment 301828
The update in the OP (KB2913431) is not listed in your list of optional updates.

I had no optional updates, how long have those been waiting?

I downloaded it after my first reply
If you look up ie11 it will list as a recommended update for windows 7,
Most of the others are for remote desktop,
There's one to be able to write windows 8 apps I believe the 53mg net framework 4.5.2...

IE11 was in the front when it was offered to me, same with the .NET

Looks like you had those hidden previously.

I doubt it I do not hide updates if in doubt I just let them collect dust,
Besides some of the updates get replaced by current versions too so possibly that would explain it ?
    Cheers.

That could be it, I'm sure different systems do different things.

You know at first I thought they were sorted by size :)
But Silverlight on top is bazar to me I always considered it as a windows item via Microsoft owned,
But fairly an unnecessary update unless you want to watch Microsoft help videos or stream from Netflix I believe ?
    Cheers.

It wasn't listed as optional on mine, it was in the Important list.

I'm sure it would be in the Optional section if this box was Unchecked,
