Thanks yes a very distracting site it's no wonder how I lost track of the .1 blah blah
Anyone willing to use 8 is more than likely going to take anything from Microsoft blindly

Sill pondering why this is on Sevenforum and not EightForums

You have to ask MrWhoopee about that. :) But it is good to know for folks that may service both versions. I've seen dumps from Eight over here.

Oh please. They aren't even close to bringing back the Old Start Menu. More or less bringing the taskbar and window handles out of hiding when I point my mouse at the top and bottom of my screen. What if they had decided to call it Windows 8.11 (for Workgroups)?

It is really not a big deal. I made two 8.1 updates in no time. MS wants to cut their losses and not have to support too many variants of 8 - that is understandable. The rest is just a smoke screen.

For the very same reason that you see so many other posts about XP and Win8, most of us here are interested in more than just 7.

That, and I personally take great delight when M$ steps on their own tail (again), particularly in the case of Win8 because it has caused so much bewilderment and frustration for my many senior clients.
