I really believe that MS should give it more time. I mean, if you have already declared that it will be out in 2010 then the time should be used to the fullest to make sure there are no loopholes and blind spots left!
Imagine this: If MS decides to go by the planned 2010 launch and takes all the time between now and launch date and uses it for testing, there is a strong possibilty that we will get a bulletproof OS! No need to patch, runs most available software out of box [atleast the ones available around the time of launch] and does not require any "help" from Internet.
But then again, this is my personal opinion! | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom built OS Windows 7 Ultimate (32 bit) triple boot with Windows XP SP3 and Fedora 13 KDE CPU Intel Core2 Duo E6300 @ 1.86Ghz [2MB L2 cache] Motherboard GIGABYTE GA-G31M-ES2C [intel G31 Chipset] Memory 4 GB [2 GB x 2] DDR2 800 Mhz Kingston Graphics Card Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 4770 512 MB GDDR5 (128 bit) Sound Card Realtek ALC 883 HD Audio codec onboard Monitor(s) Displays Samsung SyncMaster 2033SW+ Screen Resolution 1600 x 900 @ 60Hz Keyboard iball ikey multimedia keyboard Mouse Logitech PS/2 Optical Tilt Wheel Mouse PSU VIP 400 W Case Zebronics Elegance Cooling All Fan [2 on case side and one at back] Hard Drives 1 x P-ATA Samsung 40 GB

Hi Arxos,
Just to clarify a point, the non operation of printers under Vista was caused by lack of drivers from the printer manufacturers. Although they had plenty of time to develop drivers for the Vista model, some manufacturers decided not to develop them possibly in an attempt to drive hardware sales .
As for iTunes, If apple decide to provide a version of their software to run on Windows it it their responsibility to ensure it works, as it it Microsofts to ensure that their office suite works with a Mac if they wish to sell to that particular market.
A lot of perceived problems with Vista were, and are still being, caused by shoddy programming on the part of 3rd party developers | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Real World Computing (Me + a little help from Acer) OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 + x86 + Windows 8 x64 CPU AMD Phenom II X6 1035T 2.6 GHz Motherboard Aspire M3400 Memory 4Gb PC10600 DDR3 1333 MHz Graphics Card NVIDIA GeForce 315 512MB Sound Card OnBoard - Realtek High Definition Audio Monitor(s) Displays Philips 32" HDTV, (HDMI) + 26" TV (VGA) Screen Resolution 1920 x 1080 @60Hz + 1360 x 768 @60Hz Keyboard Microsoft Wireless 800 or Stock Acer, (depends where I sit) Mouse Microsoft Wireless 800 or Stock Acer, (depends where I sit) PSU Stock (400W) Case Acer M3400 Cooling Stock Hard Drives 500 GB Seagate ST3500418AS SATA II

Yes thats a scam to make people buy new printers no doubt.
As for itunes, it works fine for me in Vista and Windows 7. No problems at all so I have no idea what you are talking about there. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Home built OS Windows 7 Ult, Windows 8 Pro, CPU Q9650-4.275GHz, E8600 4.5GHz, E6750-3.8GHz Motherboard Evga 780i FTW Memory G.Skill PC2 9600 1200Mhz 5 5 5 15 2T Graphics Card GTX480 Sound Card Asus Xonar D2 Monitor(s) Displays HannsG Screen Resolution 1680X1050 Keyboard Logitech G15 Mouse Logitech G9 PSU ThermalTake Toughpower 1000Watt modular Case ThermalTake XaserV Cooling Xigmatek S1283 Hard Drives GSkill Phoenix Pro 120GB SSD Internet Speed T1 |

A lot of perceived problems with Vista were, and are still being, caused by shoddy programming on the part of 3rd party developers I totally agree. As I found out recently "Netgear" would not release a beta for Win 7? They are going to wait. This is a good example of how slow the hardware manufacturers are! | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Dilithium Computers/Engineering (Myself) Star date 42.739285.5432.9 OS Win7 Ultimate x64 on Desktop / Win7 Ultimate x86 on laptop / Win7 x86 Starter on Netbook CPU AMD Phenom 965 X4 3.4Ghz cpu Black Edition Motherboard Gigabyte 790XT Memory 12 Gb DDR3 Graphics Card Nvidea Gforce GTX 470 Sound Card Onboard Realtek hi-fi Monitor(s) Displays Lg 3D led 23" Screen Resolution 1920x1080 Keyboard Logitech wireless K350 Mouse Inferno gaming mouse PSU OCZ 700W GameXstream Case Artec 10000 Cooling On board + many case fans Hard Drives Loads maxstore sata 1 & 2/ loads of partitions + 1Tb Hitachi sata 2. 256Gb Crucial ssd.
