In just this short thread, I have decided to switch. I have been using Firefox for quite a few years, but it crashes a lot due to Shockwave Flash. It is just a pain so as of now, I am giving Chrome a try. Thanks,

Just be aware that the site reply box works better in FF and IE.

Having Flash and Java built in does give Chrome a advantage,
It also gives it added security risks,
When a computer becomes infected using Chrome it's usually pretty bad,
I'd say use this often,

My Chrome experience was short lived. It was too different for me. I didn't like that the Menu Bar was hidden on the side instead of at the top like I am used to. I am the "Old Dog" and I don't want to "Learn New Tricks".

You could try Pale Moon to see if it crashes less for you.
It's Firefox based and they have a Portable version so you can test drive it without installing.

Chrome is an acquired taste for bland and I personally never got used to the tabs listing,
The oddest was the lack of a real toolbar as Google has for Internet explorer or Firefox

In all honesty from what I've seen in the new Firefox "default" it doesn't look any different than Chrome,
Hopefully it's as customizable as the article says ?
Wouldn't know,
Who ever said lite gray was style ?
Cheers.

There are stats that put Chrome on top.
There are stats that put IE on top.
It just depends on what's being measured, and how it's measured.
The results vary a LOT, depending.

That depends on what you want to end up with.
If you want to restore the classic-style interface, you need to install a bunch of add-ins (reminds me of some OS ...).

I'm using Pale Moon 24.6 (64 bit).

Yeah, I tried Chrome and didn't like the differences. I'm accustomed to Firefox, and I don't see any reason to learn a different way of doing things.

Unfortunately Firefox is in the habit of changing things, too. It's a pain. So I'm at version 28, strongly resisting that new "we've changed everything" version. And I'm only up that far (v28) because the new google maps won't work on my old version 20.
