    Intel's upcoming Core i7 975 Extreme leaked?

    Intel raised the performance bar with ease back in November when it launched its latest and greatest architecture to date, Nehalem, in the form of three Core i7 processors topping at 3.2GHz. However, according to some recently leaked information, a successor to the flagship 265 Extreme Edition model is already in the works.

    kk may i know cause i been woundering alot. What is GHz and what does it mean with a processor??

    lmao it depends on what info you are trying to find...
    wikipedia usually has very good info just dont quote from it when it has to do with education or work...

    *wink* *wink* a piece of advice...
    on the bottom of the page are the sources the author/s of the wikipedia page got their info...
    if you just use those they are almost all the time reliable...

    5.2 Ghz on dry ice. But still, 1.504.....

    They reckon it actually booted into Windows at 4.6 ghz with 0.975v !
