dont know about using a separate drive or not like some of you others are planning on doing. But; if it comes down to it; i may also get a separate like 2 or 3 tb drive to install 10 on so i can leave my 7 install on my current drive un touched.

    Hi there

you can still run VMware player and a 32 bit virtual machine - no problems there. Mobos that don't have the VT feature from Intel (or equivalent from AMD) must almost be MUSEUM pieces by now -- perhaps you can be lucky enough to get someone to give you a nice new one as an Xmas "prezzie".

    Cheers

Yea vm is not possible unless it's a 32 bit version which I don't like that idea of doing so I plan on covering up 8.1.1... anyway because there's really nothing in 8 I like anyway,
10 is not all that great either but as it's the newest I'll go to it on that ssd anyway and keep 7 till 2020 as my main os and play with 10 and hack it if necessary to get rid of the items I don't like which is most of the start button traits :/

If I have to get a third party theme to get glass back then so be it I'd have to do it for 8 anyway,
Start8 is already used which is not perfect in search but is allot better than 10's is with a yucky Bing default
Looking forward to the Jan. release and a dirt cheap upgrade :)
Vm is possible with windows 7. I done it with windows 10 32 bit as well as windows 10 64 bit, but I prefer windows 7 and Linux with xfce4 desktop myself. After VM, I tried it for awhile on my actually hard drive, didn't much care for it. I got a little scared when the hard drives starting to fail on people who use windows 10 preview. That turned me off of testing the preview. The possibility of windows 10 being subscription will turn me off.
