In the referenced video trailer for Win 10, they show a news article about a home for sale in Scotland.

The architect is one you'd not expect to be called out in a Microsoft presentation.

Hmm, oddly it seems to be installed even though I didn't tell it too 4 days ago... Well uninstalled. Also found Compatibility update for Windows 8.1 and Windows 8 for Win 8 to be interesting.

Thanks - now uninstalled. I play around with W10 every night but I'm always glad to get back to W7.
It's not as though there's any big changes - nothing to make me want 10.
Don't like the Start Menu - Tiles - AppStore - Settings. Don't need Cortana - Bing - Spartan.
All added bells and whistles I can do without.

We'll have to see how much better the RTM is compared to 7 or 8.1. Right now I see nothing, absolutely nothing in 10 that I need. It is slower than 8.1 - for booting it takes more than twice the time. For a beta with little function that is a LOT.

Network printers silently try to install on login and fail.
I've noticed this on some (not all) of my machines here at work. System in example is an Dell Latitude E6530 running fully up to date Windows 7 64bit on our domain. When a user logs on, the system decides it wants to detect network printers for some reason. It then tries to unsuccessfully...

How to run a Net Logon batch file silently?

32-bit apps fail silently on 64-bit Windows 7
Very strange problem. I recently cleaned a client's HP Windows 7 Home system from a malware infection and the computer is in a rather odd state. It will run any 64-bit application, but will not run any 32-bit app. It took me about an hour to notice that there were no processes in Task Manager...
