There has been a lot of talk suggesting that W10 updates will be automatic and mandatory.
Nobody gives stuff for nothing for nothing.

Mandatory Updates, if it happens, has nothing to do with the free upgrade offer by the way. If that's what your implying. Paid for versions of Windows 10 will have the same restriction imposed on them. Just saying.

That may be a good topic for feedback. Suggest paid versions of 10 be autonomous in that regard.

On the upside I hear there was a lot of feedback asking for Glass on 10.

Too hard to police and just another thing for those getting the free update to gripe over. IMHO Because you know some are going cry that its not fair etc. Feed back all you want though, you never know.

"Feedback" is an interesting term. Before Jimi Hendrix it was an inadvertent noise to be ignored. He made it into music.

What about just putting your device or computer on metered connection, this seems to to stop the updating in windows 10 preview? I don't know if this will work for the windows 10 rtm if any or the windows 10 release to consumers coming out on July 29

That might slow other things down in the process? Video streaming etc. Just a guess.

Forced automatic updates sounds quite risky... remember those updates that rendered Windows 8 unusable or gave Black Screens? And what about those updates for Windows 7 that did almost the same?... If this happens with Windows 10, Microsoft will pay for that error...

I hope they get back at their senses...

What worries me more is M$ would enforce actual changes to Win 10, much like Win 8.0 users were pretty much forced to update to 8.1 or no longer be able to receive certain updates, no matter if they liked the newer one or not. In the past, if people liked an OS but didn't like the next one, they could stay with the older until its EOL.

Free Cell Game : it there a way to stop auto-complete ? Other versions
I love the game "Free Cell" which comes with most computers. I do not like the way it makes moves automatically and finishes the game for you. I would like to be able to make my own decisions and do the final moves' myself. Is there any way to over-ride the automatic features, or is there an...
