Its definetely a display issue, both drivers for AMD & INTEL Windows 10 that i have tested one by one goes BSOD and the Microsoft generic BasicDisplay.sys won't let me out of black screen (tried hard all suggestions grabbed around, though!).

Tested Safe Mode with Network to load drivers, same same. My monitor refresh rates was set Ok at 1920x1080 (32bit/64Hz) and it was like on reboot no signal on it.

Otherwise Windows 10 have its charm in Safe Mode, and it works flawlessly!!!

By the time its drop on price an entire year will have pass and the free offer won't be there anymore!!

I have to make myself clear on the idea to left Windows 7 for Windows 10, because if i do a Clean Install i do not think i want to go through the hassle to reinstall all on my actual machine.

I'm even afraid to Clean Install now that i know Display drivers BSOD....

What would it be if after i just can't use it!

You could still try a clean install, once it activates on an upgrade, it should always activate even after the free offer expires.
Yeah, i know i can do that...It's just a matter of thinking soundly!

I like my damn Windows7 too!

I collected the CBS.log with while i was with Windows 10 in Safe Mode, doing the System File Checker command.

Trying to understand why those BSOD (didn't colleted dump files because was too obvious):

dGPU without iGPU enabled in bios, i got,
"system_service_exception atikmdag.sys" or "atikmpag.sys"

then tried with the iGPU and dGPU mounted & unmounted from Pc Case, still i got,
"system_service_exception igdkmd64.sys"

There's is a problem with the Pci/pcie bus chipset, either AMD filter or Intel.
From Amd i can understand on my motherboard...but Intel??

There's the compatibility mode in Windows 10 as Intel in their last release notes looks telling that's the way to install their drivers, but does it while upgrading?

CBS.log, appart repairing some winsxs entries didn't saw that much others related.

Damn Black Screen frozen and MS Basic Display driver does not entirely do the trick!!!

A year is plenty of time and drivers will get a fix somehow and testers like us will have the time to think off it (not too hard, please)!

It's absolutely garbage. As I said in a previous post, ever since they left XP. Windows 7 is the only great OS they have done. Why don't they build on that? And the look of it is terrible too. All flat look, it's absolute garbage no wonder it's free. I won't be upgrading as I have already done it. And Microsoft have messed up the Ethernet connection on Windows 7 too. I wouldn't put it past them doing it so you upgrade. Not for me I will wait for a patch.

I don't know but my Ethernet connection is now treated as a public network with no Internet access! When I installed windows 10 it was treated as a home network and worked fine. Because I hate Windows 10, I done a clean install of Windows 7 pro. and when prompted, told it that it was a home network. Which was fine until I restarted Windows 7 it was treated as a public network again and I don't have any option to change it. I am not the only one with this problem and it can only be Microsoft, as I restarted windows 10 a few times to see if the same happened. It did not, and treated it as a home network. So it's got to be Microsoft that is at fault with their new garbage OS!

I thought setting windows 7 as public network is better than setting as a home network provided you don't use a home network or public wi-fi.
