Man, it's way to early to start a new OS. Why not just take as long as Vista or something and get some TRUE innovation in there? You could do so much over 6 years!

Technology changes FAST! you think you have something that won't change and is up to date and then they come up with something better...
It is just like my laptop I have a Dual Core processor (that I thought was pretty cool in a laptop) and now I am hearing that Quad Core processors are going into laptops! and my laptop is only a year old!... It's just amazing how fast things change in technology.. you can never be ahead of it...It always changes.
I'm ready for Windows 8 beta, got an extra HD formatted ready for the install. I could get another ready for Windows 9 real quickly.
Well, you guys have probably been messing around with 7 since the beta release, me, I started when my copy arrived a little over a week ago. For most users, it's way too early for Windows 8.
Just for the hell of it I looked to see if "eightforums.com" was registered. It was, which didn't surprise me. But what did surprise me is that "eightforums.com" is already up and running about Windows 8. Not a lot over there thus far but I thought - good grief, people. Is anyone over there from over here?

Hold off on innovation no... Hold off on innovation until next sellable version of windows, no thanks!
Each version Windows is such a big development and therefore expensive but I don't believe they're doing enough to make each version worth buying over the last. Release updates for OS that's already out and paid for would be better because its expensive enough already.
Aha, Lordbob. Thanks. Those eightforums people also own nineforums.com AND thenineforums.com, which both point back to eight.
