It's good to know that nobody is experiencing any type of difficulties but for the exception of Windows 10, that nobody really wants on their system, including myself. When I get back home this coming Friday I too will shoot them up and give them a whirl.

Office Updates

I just noticed that the last round of updates bricked Outlook for me. I tried a couple of remedies and finally decided it was an update. Symptoms were Outlook was running in safe mode and third party tool bars (Nuance, Symantec and Evernote) were not being displayed. I finally uninstalled the office updates for 12.08.15 (all of them) Outlook straightened up.

Man there was like forty that I uninstalled. I began to put them back one at a time. I reinstalled all except the ones for infopath and Visio. I don't use those two apps. Anyhow when I got them back the problem did not exist.

When I am installing updates, I will install all of them for office at once and then proceed to install windows updates two or three at a time. I may have to start Office the same treatment.

I am just wondering if anyone else had a problem with Outlook.

See here:

After yesterdays updates, Outlook has mind of it own

As far as I know that update has been pulled do if you remove it then it will not be offered again. It was pulled fast so when did you download updates?

Anyone seen these show up yet? Normally I come home from work and they are waiting but today I'm off and checking (just want to get them done and out of the way). It's 5.30 UK time but no sign of them yet on my machine. I might be jumping the gun a bit Cheers, Wayne
