all the 13 are Office related ones, I thought they wouldn't be a cause of concern, its the reason I didn't include them. Here's the screenshot:

Another update from December 18th you do not want.

KB3112343 - This update enables support for additional upgrade scenarios from Windows 7 to Windows 10, and provides a smoother experience when you have to retry an operating system upgrade because of certain failure conditions. This update also improves the ability of Microsoft to monitor the quality of the upgrade experience.

    Yep monitoringware
If one does not wish to upgrade there's nothing to monitor

Now, if there was just some way to convince MS of that wish.

    Thelma,
This is the list I have gleaned from various places. These updates should not be on your system UNLESS you want to upgrade to 10.

One question Thelma do you know what Silverlight is ?
You obviously have it installed otherwise it would not be offered as a Important update

Mostly silverlight is used for M$ help videos have you ever watched one ?
If not I would uninstall Silverlight and hide it or simply leave it in the Optional section where it belongs because silverlight is not really required for much of anything
Except streaming Netflicks movies so if you do that yes install it

....2343 well that one adds monitoringware for upgrading to windows 10
So if you want to upgrade to win-10 by all means load it
    I personally hid it
Not sure if windows updates will freakout by doing that but I'll let you know :)

    The other 2 are fine.
