    XP, W8.1 & W10 up, W7 down

I was expecting W10 to overtake W8.1 early this year.

    W7 lost market share.
    XP, W8.1, W10, OS X 10.11 & Other increased their market shares.

When I see XP going up, I have to question their methodology.

Maybe people are building XP VMs for stuff that won't work in W10?

    Weird.
I had to repost the graph.

I wonder what the numbers would have been had 10 been not free or "accidentally" upgraded on peoples' PCs?

Yea nobody subtracts for people that revert back to the prior os or just completely invalidate a os as illegal
Not the numbers they are looking for :)

The operating systems shown were sold operating system except W-10.

Now shows us how many W-10 were sold.
That would be apple to apples not apples to pantyhose.
