Who here thinks if Adobe released a x64 version of flash, the transition from 32-bit to 64-bit would be a bit quicker? I'm not saying like over night but just a tiny bit quicker.

Thanks for the heads up Aaron.

Installed successfully on Windows 7 (x64) and OS X Leopard 10.5.8 (lol), so far no issues.

Their website did say there would be 64-bit at the next major release. Depends if they mean 10.1 or 11 :/

Adobe is working on Flash Player support for 64-bit platforms as part of our ongoing commitment to the cross-platform compatibility of Flash Player. We expect to provide native support for 64-bit platforms in an upcoming release of Flash Player following the release of Flash Player 10.1.

By "major" release I would assume 11, since most companies consider the "whole number" the major version.

Adobe sucks no x64 support. Adobe is holding up all of 64bit web browsing. Ya its all thier fault. I wish all sites would just switch to silverlight. Haven't the web designers figured out that adobe doesn't want to support there product anymore. Oh ya thats right thier using adobe for web design. Adobe and Apple there like brother and sister just screwing over the PC world. They want everyone to switch to silverlight. I have started working around the x64 support, if a site needs adode flash I just wont go there. its simple. Man I wish I could express how I really feel. Someone give me something to smash. If only I could use fowl language.

Is anyone running into problems trying to install Flash 10.1? I keep getting error d51 or something like that when it is finished Unpacking the files with "close program" button. I even used Flash removal tool and tried installing with no luck .

They say the next release after 10.1 should have 64-bit support.
