Understand how long you can continue to use the Office 2013 version of Office 365 ProPlus

You can continue to receive updates for the Office 2013 version of Office 365 ProPlus until February 2017. After February 2017, there will be no additional updates for the Office 2013 version. Therefore, we recommend that you upgrade to the Office 2016 version of Office 365 ProPlus as soon as possible.

If you choose to continue to deploy the Office 2013 version of Office 365 ProPlus, you need to do the following:

This thread title should be updated as it's a bit misleading...

I think this is directed at users of the "Office 365 Pro Plus" version only.

I believe if you are installing from a retail package or ISO (or MSDN etc) then we need not worry.

If you go here:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/lifecycle?p1=16674

You can see the life cycle chart for Office 2013.

For Office 2013 Professional Plus (which I use) - mainstream (active) support runs until 4/10/2018 and then Extended Support kicks in thru 4/11/2023. No worries here

Cheers!

How do I get Office 2013 updates to show in Windows Updates.
I am using Office 2013 Pro & it does not show updates in the normal Windows Update section on my computer. I have to refer to any Office application, select File & then Accounts to see that I have automatic updates selected & the update number, but it does not tell me if it is the latest update, so...
