I keep it plugged-in, as my wife keeps saying she may use it someday to make greeting cards, but she never gets a round to it. I really ought to donate to a senior center.

Windows '95 was my introduction into the Windows world. Before that I was only ever interested in computers for playing games on. The first computer I got was a Commodore VIC20, then a Plus 4 and the c64. ZX Spectrum +2 and virtually every games console that was released up until the PS2.

There is one phrase that makes me cringe whenever I think of the Windows '95 era.... "Dial-up connection"
It used to take me a day to download one song and was forever disconnecting. IE reminds me of that a lot, probably why I never touch it anymore!

IE8 (and other browsers) not working after update
This problem seemed to coincide with a critical Windows 7 update around 15th Feb but could have been related to installing Webroot internet security around the 27th Feb. Basically when starting IE8 it just hangs completely. Tried running Chrome then installed Firefox and all do the same thing....

How many copies of Windows 7 per machine allowed...
In a way, this is a rhetorical Q as I know full well that it's one copy per machine. I was just wondering, is there is a sticky available here on this site, or does anyone have a nice link about the official legalities about how many installs per machine in a home, business, domain environment etc....
