| | Hi What I found interesting with the original post was not the number of the build but the designation winmain_win7rc1 which was said to indicate that the build was on the release candidate branch. Apart from this particular report the latest build number I have come across is 7046 with the consensus that 7041 exists. Annoyingly even the latest videos from MS still show the 7000 build number  It would be nice to confirm that the current status of development is still in Beta or on the RC branch, I have not got access to the build numbers for the release candidate for Vista but can anyone confirm if it even followed this format ? |
