AOL, the once internet giant that dominated the online marketplace has introduced a new logo. After breaking ties with Time Warner, the company is looking to reinvent itself as a younger, more hip company.

The new branding, Aol., yes the period is included, is supposed to help changed the image of the failing empire. The company has plans to lay off nearly 1/3 of its workforce by year end due to dwindling sales.
Read the rest, and view the new logo's here.

Madre de dios (Mother of god) I didn't expect to see that on Neowin.

What an incredible improvement step backward. What are they thinking?

One of the worst arguments ever. Not just you but anyone that says that a person or group are "trying."

    Hitler was trying.

Its not an argument. I'm simply stating that its better for them to try and bring their company around then to just sit their, die out, and not even try to stop it.

Its like watching a steam roller coming at you. You know your going to die, but you don't feel like moving.

They'd do far better investing in better customer service and standards

I had them for well over 2 years. They have pretty decent customer service. Standards, not sure what you mean by that exactly.

The real questions is, will the new logo help revive the company?
I think 'not' ... logo changes won't do much of anything for AOL. They really need to think more about "Customer Service".

Edit: I'm talking about those who pay for their service should be able to get decent Internet time/connection... etc.
