Thanks,
Well, if you read the article...this is the IE update you should have been issued in Windows Update yesterday. Not so much an upgrade really, more of just a few fixes.

An update is available that improves compatibility and reliability of Windows Internet Explorer 8 in Windows 7 Beta
Hello Airbot, thanks for answering me.
Righto, one reason I am confused is that I read that all the updates for Seven were dummies, just testing the update process.
It now seems that some are valid and should be installed.
Next: I have not been offered any updates by MS.
Should I go looking for them, and if so, what?
Umm, and I did read the article, and sorry, but I do find it confusing.
Thanks, as always, for you help :)
Well, that's what they were saying, that it would be 5 test updates...
It seems most of us got 5 updates yesterday but for me, only 2 were tests and the other 3 were actual updates. I don't know why you haven't got them if you have build 7000. Are you positive you haven't gotten them? Have you Viewed your Update History in Windows Update?
Are you running 32 or 64 bit?
And is it activated with a key?
Thank you Airbot, I looked where you suggested in Windows Update - dunno where to find it, so I did a search from the start button. It worked and took me straight there. Hooray.
I have two tests and a few updates sitting there. I shall address them tomorrow morning. It's late now.
Thanks for your guidance :)
PS 32 bit
Yes, you can just go to Control Panel- Windows Update-
Attachment 5091
You can also see your installed updates in Control Panel-Programs and Features-View Installed Updates..
The C# Express help system works a lot better now too :)
I have had about 6 updates in the past 3 days, 2 of which were "tests".
