The point of my post wasn't to start a flame war. Sorry if it seemed that way, I was just having a bit of fun. I'm not one to play the "mines is bigger than yours" game. It was all in fun.
Peace
Goooooooo AMD! Lol, not a fanboy I just like AMD processors due to their low-cost high-perf. benefit. As with intel, high cost, almost same -a lil higher -perf... And AMD R&D is somehow amazing? Right now its down but recently they were the best of the industry, as with i believe its 5(or more) or the worlds top 10 super computers are on AMD, whilst only 3~ish are on Intel. Intel copy's, AMD innovates. Done...
For me, I have never had one second of a problem with AMD or Intel. Both great products. One of them happens to be cheaper. So, AMD is the way I went.
To me it doesn't matter which is on top at the moment. They both need to be strong competitors for the good of the consumer.
Ne either no problems with either. Loved my 939 4000 AMD on a DFI, but also like my Q6600 to each their own.I'd like to see a AMD with a ATI chipset and ATI GPU all engineered to work together.
I don't care who makes it, so long as it works.
