I very rarely use Gmail online. There is little reason to with a good email client and pop access.

Other than the fact you can only check email on your own PC or it'll screw with your sync...

I have no idea of what you mean? I can check email either on or offline without any problems.

Windows Mail vs. Windows Live Mail

Now if you just add a button that allows us to add a picture in Windows live Mail like you had in Windows Mail, I'll uninstall Thunderbird.

...I keep hotmail because of my switching ISP's about every 2 years.I've had hotmail since 1999.It is more buggy now than it was then.

I don't like MS's email services because they have one login page for all their services. This means I have to type in my entire address to log in. And no I won't let my browser(s) t save passwords. I really don't understand why they can't create hotmail.com, msn.com and live.com as separate entities.
