| | Microsoft shakes up its Office business Quote: This morning, Microsoft released more details about its pricing for Office 2010, which is due in June 2010 (my colleague Mary Jo Foley had the numbers and details bright and early). What was unusual about this announcement is not the numbers themselves but rather the sea change they represent for Microsoft’s traditional selling model. | | this really isn't surprising considering that MS is really pushing the digital medium as the future. and the price break is pretty nice too |

I don't mind really because I quite like MS Office, been using it for eons, and I wouldn't want to have to learn a whole new Office suite. |

| | Hi there Beta version of 2010 is good EXCEPT for Outlook 2010 with IMAP -- still to many problems and Outlook is a MUST HAVE app (work etc etc). They need to possibly do a Release Candidate before final release. I like the rest of the suite however. Cheers jimbo |
