Nice read. I've got Windows 7 Professional installed on my Advent Milano netbook, and surprisingly it works really well by default. It wasn't pre-installed, so I had to format the netbook and then install from scratch with the default settings.

I haven't even done any customising really, but it works like a charm. :) I'm very impressed by how well it runs, especially since on a previous netbook I owned I had XP installed, and that didn't run too well.

Quite a few of the newer 10" models have really nice keyboards. The best thing to do is to go to a computer store where they have display units and check them out for yourself. If your cousin had an earlier HP model, it's probably smaller than the newer ones. The first netbooks started off at 7", then 9", and are most commonly now 10".

I have a Samsung N130 and the keyboard is of a very high standard. But I suppose it depends on the size of the user's hand.
