Robert, if there was a thread about how good the new Opera is and you posted there your opinion about how you really do not like it, it would be the right thing to do and not OT. It would be your opinion about the matter in question. Maybe not using those words (useless product, you hate it) but still it would be your opinion and accepted as such.
I re-read this thread. I did not find a single post about leaks being useless or somebody hating them. In fact, the word 'hate' is only found in your post.
I admit I am old school: no cracks, no leaks, only official and licensed stuff, only legal software. In my opinion, it should not mean I am not allowed to express my opinion. I would like you to explain me why shouldn't I and others not using leaks tell our opinions in a civilized and polite manner?
Kari

This is now completely OT but I feel I just have to say this.
If I understand you correctly, you are saying that for instance when somebody posts the news about already expected and waited IE9 being finally published, only those who like it and are using IE should be allowed to post on that thread? Those not liking it or not using it should not post on that thread?
I have a different opinion. A free world (almost, anyway), a free forum. A right to express our opinion in every matter in question.

Kari I agree. Nothing wrong with agreeing to dis-agree as long as it doesnt resort to bashing eachother..
We may not all share the same opinion or viewpoint, but that doesn't necessarily mean either one are wrong.
Although the SP1 leak news is interesting and I will keep an eye on it, I won't run anything leaked like this on my machine, regardless of its source.
Unless that source is MS themselves (as in a Beta or RC version) then I may try it. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom (Self Build) OS Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit CPU Intel Core i7 2700k (4.5Ghz) Motherboard eVGA P67 SLI Memory 2x4GB Mushkin Redline Ridgebacks (@1866) Graphics Card EVGA GTX570 SuperClocked (1280MB) Sound Card XiFi Titanium HD Monitor(s) Displays LG W2453V Screen Resolution 1920x1080 Keyboard Saitek Cyborg PSU Seasonic x750 Case Corsair 600T (SE White) Cooling eVGA Superclocked CPU Cooler Hard Drives [OS SSD]Intel 320 (80GB) -- Intel X25-V (40GB) --WD Black (1TB)x2 -- WD Blue (640GB) Other Info LG BD/DVD |
