Need one? No. It'll still get one though.

Personally, I don't believe in fixing something that isn't broken. Windows 7 works just fine as it is right now and I will not be installing SP 1, unless or until there is a SP 2 available to fix all the things SP 1 will break.. XP was the last good OS to be released by MS, but XP SP1 was a disaster. I see no reason to believe MS has learned from its mistakes

Right.. Anyways, it may not be broken for you, but I'm sure for others it might have some quirks.

There are leaks, and then there are leaks. Some from good sources, some from bad. Pretty much it can be like playing Russian roulette.

    Windows 7 SP1 leak tomorrow!-w7sp1build7601.16502.100208-1500-3.jpg

    Update:
Zukona is still let us waiting for some reason. Still no download link.
May be the news that floating around are true and he wont leak it until 8 Marc.
May be he changed his mind like he did once with one of the beta leaks in the pre-rtm ages.
    Keep on waiting......

I would question as to why somebody would want to run a leaked copy of a service pack???? How can you be sure that there aren't nefarious bits added in to invade your privacy or steal your information?
If you trust the source and know where it came from it can be a plus.
With Vista SP2 beta's each one got better, the only pain was you had to un-install the current one before installing the new one. Vista has v105, v113, v275, v286, escrow, rc, etc..
